Lead Times

The process change is that the CSRs/AEs must put an expected ship date on the order when it is entered. See instructions below. This date prints on the fabrication paperwork and communicates to the fab department when the order is expected to ship. If the actual lead time is longer than what was entered in the order, the CSR/AE will be notified by the fabrication team with in 24 hrs. Once the CSR is notified, they should call the customer to update them on the revised date as soon as possible.

+/- 10% Guideline

Effective immediately, we are shipping up to 10% over or 10% under the order quantity on fabrication orders. Please communicate this change to your team and instruct them to inform customers of the change if they are entering a fabrication order.  If a customer needs the exact quantity they are ordering we will accommodate their request. The CSR/AE must type a message in the order comments (F5) stating that we must ship the exact quantity ordered. See instruction below. The order comments print on the fabrication paperwork.

We made this change to best minimize waste which will keep prices down for our customers.

Please communicate to CSRs and AEs that there is a $50 minimum per fabrication line so they can notify the customer if the situation arises.
